Production Manager
Job Description
Successfully manage job sites, job costs and warranty work in line with Craig Builders’ high standards for quality, timely delivery, budget control and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Job site management
- Production of agreed upon houses per year
- Job schedule adherence
- Construction quality adherence
- Vendor scheduling and management
- Sub-contractor scheduling and management
- Customer meetings
- Job cost management
- Purchase order process compliance
- Monitor job cost variance
- Job cost reporting
- Invoice approval
- Warranty work management
- Manage 90-day and 1-year warranty lists
- Customer service beyond normal warranty lists
- Weekend on call rotation
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 year degree required
- Experience in high volume construction project management preferred
- Highly competitive, driven individual with a history of goal setting
- Decisiveness, fast action, assertiveness important
- Must value rules, regulations and principles
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem solving skills
